Hudson Trailbound was created from a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and a belief that trails have the power to bring people together, inspire curiosity, and create a deeper connection to the natural world.
 
My name is William, and I’m proud to call Garrison, New York home. Living in the Hudson Highlands has given me the opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region while gaining a deeper appreciation for the history, ecology, and communities that make this place special.
 
Through my work as a volunteer crew leader with the New York–New Jersey Trail Conference, I’ve had the privilege of helping maintain and build trails that allow others to experience these places. There is something incredibly rewarding about working alongside fellow volunteers, restoring paths, caring for the land, and knowing that every section of trail we improve creates an opportunity for someone else to discover the outdoors.
 
Hudson Trailbound was born from that passion: a desire to help more people explore the Hudson Highlands, understand the stories behind the landscapes, and become better stewards of the places we love.
